Didrik ‘Deedz’ Galasso is a half Norwegian half Brazilian skater who can grind anything. He has a unique vision on what is possible in street skating, and a commitment like no other. He also knows how to take a slam. This episode of Epicly Later’d shares his story through the eyes of his friends and family, documenting some of his darker moments, and overcoming his struggles with mental health.

I didn’t know people didn’t like him. I love watching his parts, his style is amazing. Glad he got his mental health in order, life can be tough. Keep pushing Deedz!
guarana antartica is so good
Damn near cried when he came back to that hubba and landed it
Love these man!
Any chance you’ll ever do an Epicly Later’d on Nate Sherwood? The dude has basically brought skating back from the dead in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Got us an amazing skatepark built, opened a small skate shop (Eduskate) and helps the community get kids into skating. Super nice dude too.
Thanks for the content!
wishing nothing but the best for that dude. sounds like he's bi-polar, probably needs to be on strict regimen of meds, sans alcohol and weed. looks like he's just self medicating
Patrick, Didrik, and Co, thank you guys, for this serires. Deeply touched me and inspiration in the same time. I hope this story helps those who have lost their way or gone off track find the right path. It is difficult to accept this—and even harder to embark on the road to sobriety—but fortunately, it is the only way
wtf man, school for sk8ters? wake me up
Over 15 years dealing with addiction Call on the lord brother he shaves my life from addiction and anxiety and depression and all of the mental problems. Jesus takes it all away and mends the heart. Thank you Lord.
This is the first time I ever heard Deedz was getting hate. His skating is undeniable! Glad you’re doing better Deedz🫡
Deedz is one of the best. Raw, unique style and super skilled. One knarly dude! 💯
Deedz seems like a cool guy but I’ll never forgive him for popularizing big boys and butter fly crop tops circa 2021
He looks so much like his mom
That crooked grind down the kinked ledge was amazing.
Nice Ep. That shot of him walking up the stairs with the graffitied stained glass behind him should be the title card/thumbnail, not the slam. There's like 100 shots in this that would have been better than that slam… Anyway, stay cool Deedz, you the man.
I love deedz 😢❤ you are ameizing
Beautiful video. Thanks God for Mum and Hayley. Hope better days are ahead my friend.
1:48 Yo! What the fvck! 😳🤯 That was gnarly. I’m at a loss for words.
Shout out to awesome skate moms, my mom was the fuckin best. The pigs would bust us and take our boards and say "your parents can pick them up at the station" and my mom was the only one who would go and pick up all our boards and bust the cops balls for picking on us. Miss you every second of every day mama… Until we meet again.
Deedz is seriously talented. It’s cool seeing the person behind the skating and everything he’s been through.
This is GREAT! Thanks guys!
Vice, guys, it's okay to make these like, 25 minutes. You can just make it and admit it's because you like the guy and not overdramatize stuff.
Your amazing deedz keep shreddin love your style your skateboarding is powerful much love amazing edit! 🙏
