In the summer I don't take D3-K2 tablets and I'm often out in the sun for 10 minutes or hours. Then should I take K2 tablets?
In The Optimal Dose, the author had thousands of patients including himself taking 30 000IU daily, with NO K2.
He stated the K2 is a marketing strategy and not required. in his blog posts.
"On his website, he explicitly states that none of his 5,000+ clinical patients took K2, and he labels the aggressive industry push to pair them as a marketing strategy by supplement companies to justify a higher price tag."

I slowly went downhill (in my 60s) and when I started taking D3 + K2 I got better immediately, but it took several months to get back to normal and now I feel…normal!!!
Dr Richard Amerling was the first where I heard k2 and d3 five years ago.

I like Vitamin K2 Mc7 with Vitamin D3. I like the Vitamin D3 in liquid form from the Vitamin Shop. It comes in a small blue bottle with a nose dropper attached to the screw on lid. It comes in different strengths. Make sure to buy the highest dosage one where each drop is a thousand units . For maintence you might take just a few thousand units per day with k2. At low does you may not have to take the k2. I mean like DOSES that are just a few thousand. Some brave souls take 50,000 units a day of vitamin D3 WITH 100MCG of K2mc7. However once you start taking high doses of Vitamin d3 like say 50,000 units a day you Absolutely must take the k2 mk7 with the d3 AND YOU MUST GET A BLOOD TEST FOR WHAT IS CALLED TOTAL CALCIUM SCORE. IF IT IS high then reduce the d3 to just a few thousand units.. If it is not high continue high dose d3 but get tested again for total calcium every 6 months. Also note that IF YOU ARE TAKING HIGH DOSE 50, UNITS A DAY IT IS.MUCH CHEAPER TO BUY IT IN A 50,000 UNIT PILL. I FOUND A BOTTLE ON Amazon for about $17 that each pill was 50,000. Except for my suggestions of where to buy D3 all of my suggestions were taught by Doctor Norman Shealy who died not to long ago due to natural death. He is considered to be the Father of Holistic medicine. I was lucky enough to take a all day class with him and talk to him in person. Really helpful video, thank you. I’d just add that vitamin K is found in other foods too, not mainly fermented foods. You can also get it from leafy greens and veg like broccoli. I personally eat a lot of green salads and radicchio, especially in winter, so I don’t feel the need to supplement with vitamin K. That said, I know not everyone eats greens or veg every day, so for some people a supplement may make sense.

What type of K2 (MK-7 or MK-4)?
My Doctor ran a test and said I was vitamin D deficient! Said my level was 42.5 So was deficient but NOT deficient enough to give me a Loading Dose to boost my energy, I have been running on Near empty for a long time now but more so recently and a 2 week cold I just can’t shift that has drained me completely!! She said buy some ‘Over the counter stronger tablets’ They prescribe 800UI tablets which are not fit for anything imo!
Yesterday, I seen someone Far more experienced than my GP and she gave me a B12 injection (I’m getting another 3 before I go on holiday in a week and a half) and Also a D3 Injection of 300,000 UI My K2 MK7 from Natto will be here tomorrow or the next day, I honestly can’t wait for this to kick in, I have been deficient (I think) with lack of energy, Sleeping my life away and also Brain fog for the last 10 years at least!
Here’s to feeling Better and I’ll 100% be getting another 300,000 UI injection in 3 months as I have another holiday and I want to be able to enjoy it and not have to go for Sleeps through the day! Why the hell do Doctors not just give you the injections or Loading Doses that you really need ?? Is it if they keep you ill, they can give you other stuff ? I take Vitamin D3 & K2 with Zinc, as it supposedly makes the D more effective. Interestingly, there have been one or two videos saying not to take D & K2 as a combination, but it's up to individuals to decide who is the more credible source of information.

My GP won’t measure my vitamin D so what is a sensible dose of vit D and K2 please? I’ve been listening to your wonderful advice for a long time, and passing your videos and expertise to the vulnerable I know. But I am also asked how much and O don’t know what to say. I am hearing that many dictors recommend taking K2 as a Seperate supplement with D3,( instead if a combo ), because usually there is only about 50 mg of K2 like that, when 200 mg would be better needed?

I recommend eating more fermented food. K2 is vital and the insufficiency of this vitamin could be a major reason artery problems. There is really no upper limit defined so our bodies probably need it in abundance. Keep the calcium in the bone and prevent the stent and all this shit
Importantly; K2 should be taken before D3.
Give it half hour to digest and then it’ll be
in place to direct the D3 to your bones and
not your arteries. Magnesium and zinc is a
good idea too, but ‘with’ the K2 also prior-
half hour before to be included.
Not with Warfarin.
I'm thankful I have an awesome functional medicine MD/internal medicine specialist who tests D levels at least twice a year. And always recommends using D3 with K2. I appreciate the information you relate on your channel.
